| The Alamance Partnership for Children 2011-2012 Child Care Referral Policies Revised July 2011 The Alamance Partnership for Children Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) helps families find child care by providing them with information on child care providers in Alamance, Caswell, Durham, Orange, Person, Franklin, Granville, Wake and Vance counties, general licensing information and information on choosing quality child care. When the CCR&R provides referrals to a client, an effort is always made to give at least three possibilities. Our role is to help families ask questions to get the answers they need to make the best choice for their child. All listings and referrals are free and made in an unbiased manner without regard to race, color, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, disability, affectional orientation and national origin. We do not make recommendations or give opinions about which provider a parent should select. The CCR&R lists licensed child care centers, licensed family child care home providers, preschools, afterschool programs, and summer camp programs. Any legally operating child care program in our nine-county region can become part of the referral database by filling out a Referral Information Packet, providing appropriate documentation, signing the Referral Listing Agreement, sending a copy of their license and if accredited, a copy of their accreditation certificate. Providers will be asked to renew their listing on an annual basis and to review their listing information, a minimum of every six months to maintain accuracy.
