Technical Assistance and Training Support 

Alamance Partnership for Children provides consultation and support to programs interested in improving early education child care. We are here to answer any questions related to child care such as activities, health and sanitation, licensure and rating scales. 
Our trained Child Care Resource & Referral Specialist is here to provide technical assistance and training support to providers in Alamance County. Building a strong relationship with providers is the primary focus, and ensures services are tailored to meet each site’s individual needs. Research based techniques are used to advance programs, which includes ongoing enhancement of skills, knowledge and professional development for continued success. 
Opportunities for support include:
  • Assistance in maintaining or improving child care quality in a licensed facility or for those seeking licensure
  • Training for child care providers in curriculum, health and safety, SIDS, supervision, and classroom management
  • Supporting child care providers in continuing their education
Technical Assistance includes:
  • Access to numerous early childhood resources 
  • Assistance with assessment tools and national accreditation 
  • Classroom design enhancement including indoor and outdoor learning environments. 
  • Curriculum planning and implementation
  • On-site consultation, teacher training, and classroom demonstration
  • Personalized professional development planning

All Training sessions are approved for Division of Child Development credits, but the Partnership also works with Child Care Services Association (CCSA) to provide continuing education units for some sessions. Can’t find a training you need? Contact CCSA or look at the training calendar.​​
